Scott Huckabay, “The Jimi Hendricks of New Age Music,” was born in Tuscon, AZ , December 3, 1964. Outcast by his peers, Scott developed a loner mystique and hedonist mentality that suddenly changed on life’s highway. A motorcycle accident compelled his “pact with God”—that if he survived, his life would be more meaningful. A week later, Scott regained consciousness to ponder partial paralysis and an anonymous gift—an acoustic guitar left on his hospital bed.
Having never played an instrument or studied music, and without full use of his fingers and legs, Scott quested to play music that suddenly seemed to source eternally from within. He sought counsel and comfort from the world’s foremost makers of natural music—dolphins and whales with whom he communed daily for a year in Hawaii, listening and learning their sonic healing secrets.
